Rena Murakami debuted in 1988 in the film Hatsujo Kansen (Sexual Excitement Contageous). She has had the lead role in over 34 adult videos. In 1990 she was caught up in a sex scandal with the King of Brunei, which ended her career in Japan. She made a comeback in Hong Kong as a stripper and Catagory III actress, most noted for her roles in Sex & Zen, Escape From Brothel and Hidden Desire.
